Description

Asynchronous 1E Platform instructions for TeamViewer (TV) integration are designed to facilitate a seamless process that enables the following key functionalities:

  1. 1E-Exchange-TeamViewer-CheckClient.xml: To verify the installation status of the TeamViewer Full Client on Windows systems.
  2. 1E-Exchange-TeamViewer-StartRemoteSession.xml:
    • To verify the installation of TeamViewer Full Client.
    • To verify that no user is logged-in currently.

      > with Quick Support

    • To start the TeamViewer remote session using the Session ID through TeamViewer Full Client.
    • To start the TeamViewer remote session using the Session ID through TeamViewer Quick Support.
      • QuickSupport file can be downloaded either from the Web or 1E Platform.
      • At the endpoint, first, it downloads the file “TeamViewerQS_x64.exe“ to folder “C:\Windows\Temp\1E.client”.
      • After the successful download, it copies the file to folder “C:\Users\LabUser\AppData\Local\Temp“ and renames it as “TeamViewerQS-id<s_id>.exe“.
      • Runs the renamed file to start the TeamViewer remote session.
      • It also checks and deletes any old file if exists in folder “C:\Users\LabUser\AppData\Local\Temp“.

Notes:

  1. No support of 1EClient x86.
  2. Downloading via web or the 1E Platform (without Nomad) takes approximately 15 seconds, whereas downloading via the 1E Platform using Nomad takes approximately 120 seconds.
  3. If the agent was installed freshly and was not used even once, then the licence agreement dialog page will open up first.
  4. In case of multiple user sessions, it will entertain the later session.
  5. On the Server OS, UAC prompt may appear.
