Description
- This product pack contains instructions that enables an organization to view and perform many important opertions related to windows on end user devices like fetching operating system details with version, performing force reboot of troubled devices, getting virtualization platform details, PowerShell policy execution details etc.
Key Features
- Open start-up apps window so that end-users can decide which apps to disable. This might help with reducing boot times.
- Returns a count of all distinct Operating Systems with Version. Virtualization platform details are also provided for each Tachyon-connected device.
- Backup the specified registry key to temp folder. The backup file name (.reg) is the registry key name.
- Invoke/Run the GPUpdate utility to apply the group policy.
Setup
- This Product Pack contains instructions.
- Upload the Product pack either with the help of Tachyon Product Pack Deployment Tool or directly by clicking on Upload button from Instruction set in 1E Platform.
- Create an Instruction Set named Windows Operations and move all the instructions from Unassigned Set to this set, unless you use Product Pack Deployment Tool which creates it automatically.
Usage
- Go to Explorer and search for any instruction in this pack, For Example List Timezone information.
- Click on Ask this question.
- This will list the information of the Timezone for each device.
Caution
- These instructions allow admins to run any command on endpoints as a logged in user or under system context. It is recommended that admins use these instructions cautiously and keep the usage under control using RBAC.
